At SLO Robotics, we don't just follow instructions, we engineer solutions. Our year-long program is a high-intensity, team-based engineering team in world of competitive robotics.
From the first week, students are grouped into dedicated teams of four to five peers. You will spend 10 hours a week in our dedicated San Luis Obispo workshop, moving far beyond standard kits to master the battle-tested techniques used by the best teams in the world.
Whether you are a new student or an experienced competitor, you will be personally mentored by a team of three World Championship Division Finalists to design, build, and test real competitive robots for the VEX V5 season.

Mentorship: Led by three of the most experienced competitive robotics engineers on the central coast.
Schedule: 10 hours of season-long weekly in-person instruction from September 2026 through May 2027.
Hardware: Access to $5,000+ in professional VEX V5 hardware and sensors per team.
Local Focus: This membership covers all professional coaching, hardware, and event registration fees; tournament travel and lodging are handled by parents (we will coordinate with you on the best ways to do this as events get closer).
Age: 9th - 12th Grade (special requests on a case by case basis)
